Laura Keogh, Principal
Laura Keogh graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction degree (Sic 'Em!). She has been with Lake Travis ISD since 2013, including roles as a Language Arts teacher and cheer coach at Hudson Bend Middle School, an Assistant Principal at Bee Cave Middle School, and most recently returned to Hudson Bend as the principal.
She and her husband are invested in the Lake Travis community and have a daughter, son, and goldendoodle. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and watching all things Baylor sports. She deeply values the connections she has to the Hudson Bend community from her years as a teacher and now principal and is honored to serve the students of HBMS in this capacity.

Donald Roeder, Assistant Principal (6th Grade)
Mr. Roeder is the 6th-grade assistant principal at Hudson Bend Middle School. He received his Master's in Principalship, Master's in Physical Education, and Bachelor's in Sports Administration Degrees from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He is coming from West Monona CSD in Iowa, where he served as Dean of Students/Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, Special Education Coordinator, Senior Class Sponsor, Head Football Coach, and Head Baseball Coach. Mr. Roeder is very excited to be part of the Hudson Bend family! - GO BUCS!

Brian Gill, Assistant Principal (7th Grade)
Mr. Gill is the 7th grade assistant principal at Hudson Bend Middle School. He received his Bachelor of Education from Texas State University and taught in Zapata ISD, Georgetown ISD, Weatherford ISD, and Frisco ISD. He also spent some time working as a web developer in the Austin area. He received his Master of Educational Administration from Lamar University and was an assistant principal in Belton ISD prior to coming to Lake Travis.
Mr. Gill is very excited to be a part of the team at Hudson Bend Middle School - Go Bucs!
He and his wife Shannon have a son and a pug and live in the Lakeway area.

Tatiana Chavez, Assistant Principal (8th Grade)
Mrs. Chavez is 8th grade assistant principal at Hudson Bend Middle School. She attended Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2015. She obtained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Principal’s Certification in 2020.
After graduating from her undergraduate program she worked for the Department of Family & Protective Services as a Family Based Safety Services Specialist. In 2016, she joined the Hays CISD District as a Spanish Teacher at Jack C. Hays High School where she assisted in professional development for teachers, supported student success, and initiated Action Research for improvement in her craft.
She was a Cheer Coach at Moe & Gene Johnson High School and James Bowie High School and taught Spanish levels I-VI. Mrs. Chavez has also worked as a Weekend SAT Coordinator at Bowie High School. Her current interest is developing a healthy climate and culture that fosters a community of learners and educational leaders.
