Kendall Sealy

6th Grade Counselor

Kendall grew up in Austin, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin. A true Austinite! She has a Bachelor's Degree in History and received a teaching certificate to teach social studies for middle and high school students.  She taught Texas History at HBMS for 5.5 years and loves all things Texas History. Additionally, she has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Lamar University. Kendall loves working with middle school students and enjoys supporting them during such a transitional (and important) time of life! She enjoys traveling, museums, exploring new restaurants in Austin, and yoga.

Hello HBMS Families! I am from the small town of Kilgore in East Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my teaching degree and taught middle school Science and then Teen Leadership for a total of 10 years in Little Elm, Texas. I absolutely love working at the middle school level! I went on to get my Masters in Counseling at the University of North Texas in 2015. I have worked as a Middle School Counselor in Lewisville, Texas and Denver, Colorado before moving to Lakeway. This is my 5th year in LTISD and my 2nd at HBMS. I am thoroughly excited to get to know the students here and to be a positive source of support for them, their families, and the amazing HBMS staff.
