NJHS Selection Process

 

 

If you achieve a 93 grade point average in your 4 core classes for the first 3 quarters of the year, then you will receive an application to apply for NJHS membership in the early spring. All 6th and 7th graders are eligible for applying for the following school year. Do not apply if you cannot commit to participating in an 8:20 AM meeting the first Friday of each month and actively participate in NJHS service events. Not every applicant is chosen for membership. Applicants will receive an acceptance letter or a regret letter in the late spring. Please remember that your behavior in and outside of school must be exemplary. Students who have been accepted into NJHS do not need to re-apply at the end of school year.
